Kroya rubbed his hands together, eager to try inscribing a brand-new spell.
He approached the Scorching Round Pepper and reached out to stroke one of its fruits, sensing the raging Fire Elemental Magic Power within.
It seemed the plant had swallowed too much magic power earlier. Now, suddenly stimulated by the icy chill, it desperately needed to vent that power.
This was all too easy.
Kroya immediately thought of a spell-Mana Explosion. It was a third-level spell with a very simple effect: releasing all of one's magic power in an explosion.
It was a desperate burst of power for when someone was cornered with no way out, a last-ditch struggle.
The explosion consumed all of the caster's magic power, and a mage without magic power was completely at others' mercy.
Generally speaking, nobody would do such a thing.
Life was so precious. Who would make that choice unless they were utterly desperate?
Of course, with such harsh conditions, its power was correspondingly outrageous.
The magic power unleashed by a first-level mage could rival that of a second-level mage approaching the third level. The stronger the magic power, the more terrifying the result.
If a Legendary Mage cast this spell... its power would probably be far more outrageous than a nuclear bomb.
