He had his angel avatar lead them onward while he immediately contacted Mifein through the staff at the Magical Beast, Magic Plant, and Battle Pet Shop.
Although he knew what he had discovered was shocking, he trusted Mifein's character. If something like that really happened... Mifein would probably stop it.
