He explained, "The airspace containing the Floating Island is outside the Main Plane, in the Outer Astral Region surrounding it. You can even see the stars beyond it directly."

"That Outer Astral Region is boundless, and countless unusual species from beyond the Main Plane live there. Even great mages can't travel through it freely.

"All we can do is locate the Floating Island's coordinates and construct a teleportation Magic Array to get there."

"I see." Kroya nodded. That matched what he had learned.

After learning that he would be getting a Floating Island, he had specifically asked the angel about it and obtained some information about the Outer Astral Region.

If the Main Plane were an egg suspended in the Astral Plane, the Outer Astral Region would be the membrane around the yolk, while the white would be the Divine Kingdoms inhabited by the gods.
