The churning clouds in the sky were reflected in Miya's eyes. This sight was all too familiar to the angel.
Ever since the gods had become unable to descend upon the Main Plane in their true divine bodies, they could only exert their influence and display their power this way.
Even now, with all of them asleep, they still swarmed over like hyenas catching a scent.
"Earth, nature, and... light."
Miya identified the gods casting their gazes upon the Main Plane through the churning clouds. An elf born from a special tree like Gopherwood would tempt at least four or five gods.
The angel considered how to drive back all their power. Perhaps fire the Void Luminary Particle Cannon at their Divine Kingdoms from the Astral Plane?
Or simply ask the Void God to perform a dimensional ascension?
They were asleep anyway. Unless something particularly serious happened, none of them would wake up.
Both options seemed viable to Miya.
But while the angel was considering this, an unusual magical energy suddenly made itself felt.
"Hmm? What's that?" Miya wondered.
That magical energy had an extremely cold aura, but not because its magic had a cold attribute.
Rather, this magic had been completely tamed and made exceptionally orderly. It was like steel that reflected an icy gleam after being hammered countless times.
There was only one place in the Northern Frontier where an entity with such magic could exist, and that was...
"Ilyst's Mage Tower?"
Miya found this very strange. The angel had already surveyed the Mage Tower before. Some things inside were indeed still running, but they could not be activated without Ilyst's secret authorization.
Why had it suddenly activated?
Had it sensed the surge of divine power and begun retaliating on its own?
If that really was the case,
