Of course, the apprentices knew nothing of this.

The apprentices were astonished to see even Mifein and Oak standing half a step behind the mysterious white-cloaked figure, clearly deferring to them.

The two people and the tree reached the pool through the crowd, which parted of its own accord.

"Mage Miya."

Mifein addressed them cautiously. "Was it born because of the nature magic arrays around here? Or is some magic we don't know about at work?"

Although he, too, had no idea where this mysterious figure who kept thoroughly covered every day had come from, their knowledge had won his admiration.

The mysterious figure called Miya nodded and said:

"The Elf-Birth Magic Array did indeed work. What an adorable little life."

Their voice was exceedingly gentle and mellow, but it was impossible to tell
