Merfolk King Mihail watched the mist rising steadily over the sea. If the power of the ocean and the merfolk had not been holding it back, it would probably have engulfed the entire ocean.

The Merfolk King looked toward the two distinct temples standing amid silver moonlight and surging waves-one formed of beautiful, illusory moonlight, the other of fierce, raging tides. Like two stone monuments, they stood guard over the tree at their center.

The Azure Great Tree.

The amplifier that allowed the Sept-Terrion of Mirage to work miracles.

And the vessel that nurtured the Sept-Terrion.

After the World Consciousness drove down the Moon God and the Sea God as well, the Merfolk Tribe had swiftly taken charge of them, bundled them up, and tossed them straight into the two temples.

Ordinarily, the Merfolk Tribe was certainly "respectful" toward them. Their outward conduct and sacrifices were so flawless that even the priests of these two deities believed the merfolk were obedient subjects.

But to the Merfolk Tribe, these two deities were merely "nourishment" for the Sept-Terrion of Mirage, much like fruit growing on a tree they carefully tended.
