Clearly, if he wanted to embrace everything and lead it all in song, he would have to pay a price-a very heavy price.
Simply put, death or an ending.
Even the brightest light cast a shadow. He bore so much, and if he wanted to build a cornerstone that could accommodate everything, it needed an opposite side. Since he had not chosen to forcibly dispel it with the Sun's light, he had to bear the consequences.
The reverse side of the Sun... the reverse side capable of bearing every law.
He had to admit that this was something he had never encountered. Ever since he began studying magic, he had learned warm melodies, the song of the Sun beneath which all life lived in warmth.
This reverse side was not destruction or death... it was a grander law, the reflection of all things and their ultimate destination. In this respect, eternity was impossible.
Two choices now lay before him. First, he could simply abandon this cornerstone and forge a new one using the Sun and its order. Every being could still sing joyfully within his music, but would be subject to the constraints of order.
The second was to find a reflection that could keep the cornerstone balanced.

"I haven't even reached Legendary Rank, and I've already suffered my first setback."
"Am I just too greedy..."
"Or is this path so wondrous that it needs a restraint like this?"
He wanted to lie back and rest against the thirsty sea glow algae for a while.
He had to constrain these vast laws through willpower and Mental Power alone, wean his body off its dependence on the "rainbow poem," and temper and burn all the laws in
