By then, the moths on Old Monster Beize had flown away. Only the Insect Armor formed by the Iron Thread Diamond Insects still protected him, proving that although he had relaxed his vigilance, he still did not dare lower his guard completely.
Hu Xiaotian yawned, found a dry spot, and lay straight down. "You may not be sleepy, but I am. If the sky falls, I'll hold it up. We can talk tomorrow after I wake up."
Old Monster Beize did not know whether to laugh or cry. What does he mean, he'll hold up the sky if it falls? Does this fellow actually have a way out? He wanted to question him further, but Hu Xiaotian had already begun snoring softly.
Old Monster Beize sat cross-legged, his eyes fixed firmly on Hu Xiaotian. Was this fellow really asleep, or merely pretending?
Old Monster Beize could not sleep peacefully all night, but Hu Xiaotian slept soundly and blissfully. Only when sunlight filtered through the lake water into the Bone-Melting Prison deep beneath the lake did Hu Xiaotian give a loud yawn and slowly sit up.
Old Monster Beize sat against the opposite wall, staring blankly at Hu Xiaotian, while Iron Thread Diamond Insects crawled back and forth over his body.
Hu Xiaotian smiled at him. "Morning! Did you sleep well last night?"
Old Monster Beize snorted coldly. He had not slept at all and took Hu Xiaotian's question as mockery.
Hu Xiaotian said, "I had a nightmare. I dreamed you attacked me while I was fast asleep! You released a whole swarm of poisonous insects to bite me."
Old Monster Beize rolled his strange eyes and remained angrily silent, but inwardly he sighed. *You killed the Five-Colored Spider King I painstakingly
