Hu Xiaotian slept straight through until noon the next day. When he opened his eyes, he found Liang Dazhuang staring at him, his eyes wide. The fellow gave him a fright. "Damn it! You can scare someone to death like that! What are you doing in my room?"

"Young Master, I'm here to protect you!" Liang Dazhuang said.

Hu Xiaotian gave a cold chuckle. If he counted on this fellow to protect him, even nine lives wouldn't be enough.

Liang Dazhuang understood what that cold chuckle meant. Throughout their journey, he really hadn't done anything to protect his young master. Whenever danger struck, he was usually the first to flee. The fellow lowered his head in shame.

Hu Xiaotian stretched lazily. Hearing the wind and rain raging outside, he got up, walked to the door, and pulled it open. Although daylight had come, the sky remained gloomy, and the rain fell without end.

Liang Dazhuang came up beside him and said respectfully, "Young Master, today's rain seems even heavier than yesterday's. Constable Murong just said we should stay in the temple for another day and get some proper rest. We can decide what to do tomorrow!"
