After playing dead for several days, the system finally came back to life. The moment it did, it began assigning Ning Xiang tasks.

Mingyuan ground his teeth with jealousy. He immediately brought out Soul-Rending and attacked Zhu Yu again, though every strike avoided Ning Xiang in Zhu Yu's arms.
Zhu Yu had the same idea, shielding Ning Xiang as he fought Mingyuan.
Ning Xiang felt perfectly safe lying in Zhu Yu's arms. She even began providing commentary on their fight.
