Ning Xiang reunited with the fragments of her divine soul, escaped Ghost-Crying Island, and reconnected with her companions while several men pursued her affection. She learned that Lu Qingchen’s soul could still be saved and set out for the ingredients needed to do so, arriving in Mingyuan’s territory.

Ning Xiang braved the Ten Thousand Demons Cave and obtained the blood-burning red lotus to help save Lu Qingchen, then returned to the Eastern Sea amid demon attacks and competing suitors. Lu Qingchen briefly awakened while Ning Xiang treated him, and the arc ended with Yu Tingchao taking her to his private island after confessing his feelings.

• Ning Xiang rejected Mingyuan’s offer to become his disciple and set out for the Ten Thousand Demons Cave to find the blood-burning red lotus for Lu Qingchen.
• Ning Xiang and Mingyuan were trapped in the cave, then reunited with their companions and faced beast attacks, a corpse wraith, and the Ao Yin.

Ning Xiang lost Yu Tingchao during the demonic invasion, then sought the Undying Fruit and the Kongtong Seal to change his fate. After returning to the past to save him, she joined Mingyuan and Zhu Yu in defending the domains against the Demon Beasts.

• Zhu Yu captured Ning Xiang and demanded she return to the Demon Domain, but she refused and stayed on Tianxuan Island as the demonic attacks spread.
• The Ghost Emperor gave Ning Xiang the Book of Life and Death, which predicted Yu Tingchao’s death, and Ning Xiang reached Penglai Island in time to see him detonate himself against the invading demons.
• Ning Xiang traveled to the Hundred-Flower Continent, where she and her companions subdued Bai Xi and helped Song Tan recover, then crossed the White Bone Bridge and entered the Returning Ruins.
• Ning Xiang and Su Lang found the Undying Divine Tree, took its fruit, and returned with the Soul-Calming Pearl, which Ning Xiang used to soothe the affected cultivators.
