Ji Ting had always pondered things that puzzled him quietly. He had never scratched his head while researching controlled nuclear fusion or the Propellantless Propulsion Engine, yet today, he finally did.
Ji Yanzhi... having a baby... was that even possible...?
He knew it was probably sleep talk, but Ji Yanzhi had spoken so clearly and emphatically that he found himself wavering.
Ji Ting hesitantly leaned over and asked softly, "Ji Yanzhi, were you talking in your sleep just now?"
When Ji Yanzhi first opened his eyes, his mind was still full of the anger from his dream. He hadn't even realized everything that had happened was a dream.
But after these few minutes, he was already wide awake-and wished he could sleep like the dead.
"Ji Yanzhi," Ji Ting called again, then gazed quietly at him for a few seconds. "Are you really going to keep pretending to be asleep?"
Ji Yanzhi felt all his blood rush to his face, but he put on a dazed look as he opened his eyes. "Hmm? What's wrong?"
A hidden glimmer of amusement flickered in Ji Ting's eyes. "Do you remember what you said just now?"
"What? Did I say something? I don't remember."
Seeing him persist in playing dumb, Ji Ting thought, Looks like Ji Yanzhi really did have a baby in his dream.
Without warning, Ji Yanzhi rolled over and glared resentfully at him with his deep, dark eyes.
Ji Ting blinked. "What's wrong?"
"What were you just thinking? Tell me."
Ji Ting fell silent for a moment, then said, "I was wondering who you had a baby with in your dream."
Ji Yanzhi snorted and said irritably, "If I'd had one with someone else, you'd be the one getting angry now, wouldn't you?"
Ji Ting wanted to
