"Wait." Shen Mu Lan stopped him, sounding puzzled. "You and Xiao Ting have been together for quite a while now. How do you not know something this basic?"

When he came out of the bathroom, Ji Ting was still looking at his computer, but a faint smile now softened his expression.
Ji Yanzhi lay down on the bed and snuggled up to look with him. "Well? Did the data pass?"
"Yes."
"What about me? Did I pass?"
Ji Ting paused, then turned to him. "What?"
"You said we should try being together and see whether things would still be so rocky between us." Ji Yanzhi looked into his eyes, a trace of nervousness showing. "So, how do you think this trial period has gone?"
Ji Ting was silent for a moment. "I thought you already knew the answer."
"I do, but..." Ji Yanzhi lowered his eyes slightly. "I'm just afraid I don't meet your standards."
Ji Ting turned, closed his computer, and set it beside the bed. Then he turned back and wrapped his arms around
