After a long while, Madara decided against traveling to other times and worlds through the dragon vein. Black Zetsu, however, absolutely refused to give up. He would see his mother even if it killed him, though his ability to possess others meant the risk was lower for him than for Madara.
Madara still could not bring himself to treat Black Zetsu kindly. If that plan had gone ahead, would he, Madara Uchiha, have been nothing but a pawn? What a joke. If Uchiha Mu had not stopped him, he would have killed Black Zetsu himself long ago.
"Sis, I can see it. The dragon vein's aura around our bodies is becoming unstable. We're probably about to go back," Uchiha Naoki said, activating his Byakugan.
"Huh? Didn't you say we had two more days?"
"That's because you went and blabbed about everything, sis. Right now, I just hope nothing's changed when we get back," Uchiha Naoki muttered.
"Oh, is that it? Looks like I messed up. Sorry." Uchiha Kyu put on a cute face.
"Sis-"
"There's still one thing I haven't done. Dad, fight us." Uchiha Kyu looked at Uchiha Mu, her eyes blazing with fighting spirit. Uchiha Naoki's eyes lit up. Of course! Why hadn't he thought of that? They could give their young father a beating.
Seeing the looks in their eyes, he understood. They thought he was still young enough to beat, so they planned to teach him a lesson. Once they went back, they would no longer have the chance.
Madara took an interest in the fight as well. Since he had trained these two himself, they had to be formidable fighters. He followed them, while Black Zetsu said nothing and merely coiled himself around Uchiha Kyu. He had to see his mother, damn it!
