Raphael kidnapped Audrey, drew the attention of the Tarot Club, and built ties with her while pursuing his own criminal and supernatural goals. After killing Indulgence Faction members and surviving a battle with demigods, he returned to the Dark Hut world and pressed Chen Qingzhi for its history.
Raphael advanced through the Unwinged Angel pathway while using the Aurora Order’s recruitment and a clash with the Stinger Gang to pursue his own aims. He accepted initiation into the Aurora Order, where Mr. C named him a possible Oracle and promised a task that could lead him to its members and high-level gathering.
Raphael joined the Aurora Order, pursued his potion digestion through staged Werewolf sightings and a brutal wedding attack, and gathered cultivation methods while traveling in another world. After killing Kaven Thomas, he was hunted by the Indulgence Faction and fought back with help from Emlyn and Utravsky.
Raphael advanced to Zombie and Serial Killer, uncovered Feynapotter’s espionage through the Three Brothers Society, and fought its agents during the bombing of Backlund. After giving Xio the credit and evidence she needed, he left Carter in charge of the Mafia and pursued a new game.
Raphael explored a sealed fortress with Leonard, uncovered the history of Pain's Hand, and expanded his covert operations while advancing his Zombie acting. He then agreed to help Klein, investigated Sophia, and infiltrated her ball, where he encountered a masked woman with her own plans.
Raphael survived a Demoness attack, built the Assassin Company, and reported the Aurora Order’s operation to Klein before being named an Oracle. He entered the First Epoch ruins while separately investigating Langya Mountain, where shifting passages and rival sects led him deeper into danger.
Raphael disrupted George III’s advancement, learned the Oldest One’s history and his own significance, and gained power through the Dark Hut. He became Mr. A in the Aurora Order and began answering prayers in the Forsaken Land of the Gods, while a new sacrifice drew him back to the Dark Hut.
Raphael claimed the Dark Hut and began acting at a funeral, where Amon left him Creeping Hunger after stealing Saint Samuel Cathedral. While investigating disappearances with Xio, Raphael uncovered an Illusion Master tied to the Mother Tree of Desire and led a group to confront it, but the creature drew him and Sharron into an illusion and revealed a seed inside him.
Raphael defeated the Iron and Blood Cross Order’s Backlund leadership, drew attention from MI9 and the Tarot Club, and used a string of murders to digest his Serial Killer potion. He finished the digestion and began considering his next advancement, while preparing to explore ruins with Emlyn White.
Raphael advanced to Wraith and Devil, then used the Dark Hut to bring Western Continent disciples to the Forsaken Land of the Gods and help Sorn City defeat Bidisis. He returned to the Dark Hut with new spoils and plans for digesting his potions, then received a strange letter.
Raphael rescued Audrey from the Evernight Goddess’s dream, then joined Rose Redemption and maneuvered through the war and the factions seeking him. When Erlin’s people attacked, Raphael and Sharron fought back, leaving Raphael facing Erlin.
Raphael pursued his goals as a Devil while taking control of Aurora Order affairs, staging killings to pressure Backlund’s grain merchants, and building an assassination operation with Sophia. MI9 then sent him and Xio to kill Giles Ramsey in Conston, where Raphael escaped an ambush by Erlin and the Mother Tree of Desire before traveling through a collapsing war front with Xio.
Raphael killed Dewinter, hunted Erlin, and discovered a passage from Backlund to the Forsaken Land of the Gods. He manipulated the serial murders to target grain profiteers, advanced toward becoming a Desire Apostle, and left the Demon Zeno warned but still at large.
Raphael completed his advancement, consolidated his authority over the Aurora Order, and used his new powers to pursue the Rose School and digest his Wraith potion. The arc ended with him investigating strange events in Tizamo Town and suspecting the Chained God was hiding near the River of Eternal Darkness.
Raphael advanced to Marionette, gathered allies, and helped defeat the Supernova Dominator during the war against Bidis City. After sealing the Dark Angel, he prepared Sorn City’s pilgrimage and joined the Tarot Club.
Raphael pursued advancement by exploiting desires, hunting Rose School members, and exposing a noble investment scam while preparing to lead Sorn City’s people out of the Forsaken Land of the Gods. After surviving threats on the pilgrimage and completing his ritual, he returned to Backlund and joined Zeno in opposing the Blood Sanctify Sect.
Raphael advanced to Sequence 3, strengthened his position and orchestrated a coalition attack that devastated the Rose School. He then traveled with Trissy to Adro, recovered the sacred lamp and learned Pain’s connection to the Ancient Sun God.
Raphael advanced to Sequence 1 while battling the Oldest One, helping Pain reunite the Ancient Sun God’s personalities, and investigating death’s spread across the cosmos. As Klein moved toward his own advancement, Raphael joined the assault on Penglai Immortal Island, where the Celestial Worthy’s trap turned the battle against the allied sects.
