Aoe Ranch certainly had plenty of broodmares, but she felt she couldn't afford any of them.
"I didn't realize you were interested in that. We can look into it together sometime."
After giving all the carrot sticks to Gold Ship, Ayano Aoe smiled.
Racehorse bloodlines were a fascinating subject. Whether you wanted to pass down certain traits or compensate for weaknesses, you had to start with the horses' own characteristics.
Dirt runners with dirt runners, turf runners with turf runners.
But for a beginner, it was a money pit that could swallow every last penny.

She had neither money nor experience, and she didn't even own a single broodmare yet.
If Miss Aoe was willing to offer her advice, that would naturally be ideal. After all, she needed someone to show her the ropes.
But the chances of that were practically zero.

A ranch's broodmare stock was naturally always changing.
Some were retired racehorses, while others were purchased from other ranches.
Their ranch therefore also had quite a few broodmares to sell, keeping that cycle running smoothly.
