Koichi had been watching the drama unfold when his phone suddenly rang.
They actually called me.
After a moment's thought, he answered, and Ryuji Wada's voice came through the phone.
"Sasaki, do you have a moment?"
"I do, since I'm watching your interview program right now."
"Haha, is that so? Then we really picked the right time. We're doing a segment on the Hanshin Daishoten. As the jockey, why don't you tell our viewers about it?"

He hadn't expected their call to catch Koichi right when he was watching the show.
Then he put the phone on speaker.
"Hello, Jockey Sasaki. We're xxx. Sorry to interrupt your gaming time."

Yuichi Fukunaga called out from beside him.
He figured Koichi's heart must have sunk when he saw Golden Masterpiece lose speed. After all, the lead had been enormous. Golden Masterpiece had left them behind without even needing to accelerate.
