Koichi stroked Gold Ship in front of him.
By the end of the Kyodo Tsushin Hai, Gold Ship's weight had dropped again, probably because of the intensity of their recent training.
The field for the Satsuki Sho had more or less been finalized as well.
It was already late March, after all.
"It's three days before the race, for the final tune-up. They've been very accommodating."
Saki Ikegami nodded.
Three months had passed since the start of the year, and Sasaki had performed very consistently throughout. Although he didn't have the resources that the top jockeys enjoyed, he had still achieved good results.
That was the best proof that he was worth investing in.
"Then let's go with the time they've arranged. We don't really have anything else to do anyway."
