"Sasaki?"
"Let's go. The race is over."
Koichi could only shake his head.
He had no idea what exactly was wrong with Golden Masterpiece now.
But whatever the case, the race was already lost. Golden Masterpiece's Inside-Track Breakthrough had gone smoothly, but then Golden Masterpiece had crashed straight into the rail and lost speed, giving the racehorses coming up alongside a huge opening.

When it came to handling Golden Masterpiece, Koichi Sasaki was bound to be more useful and reliable than those professionals.
"Then I'll head over?"
Koichi couldn't figure out what his agent was thinking, either.
They had been avoiding this issue all along. The fuss back at the Takarazuka Kinen had been huge.
"Go ahead."
Saki Ikegami gave a faint smile.
"Thanks. If anything happens, just put all the blame on me!"
Koichi vaulted over the railing and ran toward
