Koichi Sasaki celebrated Epiphaneia’s Triple Crown and guided One-Way Passage and Man o' War to major victories while preparing Gold Ship for the Japan Cup. The arc ended with Gold Ship closing on Gentildonna in the race’s final stretch.

  • Koichi rode One-Way Passage to its first Mainichi Okan victory, then prepared Epiphaneia for the Kikuka Sho.
  • Koichi guided Epiphaneia to a commanding Kikuka Sho win and the Classic Triple Crown, while the team set the Arima Kinen as a likely target.
  • One-Way Passage beat Gentildonna and Tokyo Halo to win the Autumn Emperor’s Cup, and Fukunaga announced that the horse would rest for the year.
