"Sinnoh." Arceus gave only the location.
Lin Hao's hand stopped on the edge of the windowsill. The lights outside reflected in the glass, dividing his profile into light and shadow. "Can you tell what kind of power it is?"
"Antimatter energy. Its source matches the Giratina Clone at Mt. Pyre. The fluctuations have not yet formed a complete rift. Someone is controlling them."
"Where?"
"The northern side of Mt. Coronet, near the ruins of Spear Pillar."
Lin Hao drew the curtains, shutting out the city lights. Only the wall lamp beside the desk remained lit.
Cyrus had left Hoenn only a day ago, and the Giratina Clone was already causing spatial disturbances in Sinnoh. He had no intention of recovering from his injuries, nor had the destruction of the Red Chain made him abandon his plan. "He's changed targets."
"Cyrus failed to draw out a Creator God without a master. The two dragons of time and space became a more accessible choice."
"Could that tenth of the super-ancient source get Spear Pillar working again?"
"Not on its own, but it can serve as a catalyst. Combined with fragments of the Red Chain, it might prompt Dialga and Palkia to answer the summons."
May had been clearing the takeout containers from the desk. At those words, a plastic lid slipped from her hand onto the tabletop. "Cyrus went to Mt. Coronet?"
Lin Hao turned and picked up his phone to contact Steven. "More precisely, he's torn open a crack near Spear Pillar."
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's tell Cynthia right now."
"She should have heard already."
"Should have?" May grabbed her jacket and twice tried to push her hand into a sleeve without success. She finally draped it over her arm.
"Lin Hao, we're talking about Dialga and Palkia.
