"The day of the League final." After Cynthia said those words, the corridor fell silent for three seconds.

May looked at Lin Hao's profile. He showed no surprise, not even a frown.

"As expected." Lin Hao closed the file and handed it back to Cynthia. "He wants to strike when everyone's eyes are on Ever Grande City."

"What are you going to do?" Cynthia asked.

"Keep competing." Cynthia looked surprised. "The League tournament goes on. You keep an eye on Cyrus." Lin Hao looked at her. "Can you contact the Sinnoh Elite Four?"

"I already have. The Elite Four have set up two cordons around Mt. Coronet."

"Will that be enough?"

"Enough to hold off Cyrus's three hundred people." Cynthia's expression turned serious. "But what if he really breaks the seal on Dialga or Palkia?"

"He can't." Cynthia looked at him, but Lin Hao's expression remained unchanged.

"He only has ten percent of the Ancient Energy. That can pry open the seal's outer shell, but it can't open its core."

"How can you be sure?"

"Arceus told me."

Cynthia looked rather helpless. "You keep saying 'Arceus said' like it's nothing. Do you understand how much of a shock that is for everyone else?"

"You'll get used to it."

Cynthia sighed and took the file back. "All right. I'll watch your matches from the stands tomorrow and stay in contact with Sinnoh."

"Sure."

"If anything changes at Mt. Coronet, I'll notify you immediately."

"Mm."

Cynthia turned to leave, then stopped after a few steps. "Lin Hao."

"Yes?"

"You're facing Steven tomorrow." She glanced back at him, her smile full of anticipation. "Show me something good."

Lin Hao didn't answer. Cynthia left.

May stood beside him, having clutched her room key card for ages. "Can you really handle both things at once?"
