White light erupted from deep within the rift. An invisible hand clenched all of Mt. Coronet in its grip, cracking the ridges and sending the wind and snow surging backward.
The giant eye of chaos sank little by little. It had no complete body, only a distorted white shadow squeezing half its outline out of the rift.
Dialga and Palkia let out pained growls at the same time, the Red Chains around their necks pulled taut.
Cyrus hung suspended from the chains, his face bloodless, but his eyes remained fixed on the shadow. "Come on, devour them! Devour this rotten world!"
The Chaos Will did not look at Lin Hao. It merely lowered its gaze to Cyrus. "Gate. Open."
The fanaticism faded from Cyrus's face. "I already opened it! I brought the Time and Space Deities here, and I sacrificed myself! You promised me you would grant me a new world!"
The giant eye of chaos blinked slowly. Countless slender arms without flesh or blood reached out from the white shadow, pieced together from shattered time and space.
They avoided Lin Hao and Arceus and went straight for Cyrus. Cyrus panicked completely. "What are you doing? I'm your summoner! You can't treat me like this!"
The Chaos Will replied coldly, "A summoner is merely food."
Cyrus's eyes widened. A moment later, dozens of white arms plunged into his chest.
"Aah!" Cyrus let out a piercing scream as the Red Chains were forcibly ripped from his body, blood spilling through the air.
May clutched the Terminal. "Lin Hao, it's devouring Cyrus's life force! It's using him to fully descend into this world!"
Lin Hao watched the swelling white shadow. "Arceus."
"I'm here."
"Can you gauge its strength now?"
Arceus spoke. "It's forming a physical body.
