"You're still alive! Thank goodness." Morty jumped out of the patrol car and tugged his uniform collar open, the anxiety still lingering on his face.
"What kind of greeting is that? We're perfectly fine." Lin Hao yawned and brushed the dust off his clothes.
"What exactly was going on in that base?" Morty strode over and looked past the mouth of the alley toward the smoking warehouse behind them.
"All the data is here. The Legendary Pokémon genes are at the bottom, and there's an artificial Moltres that's about to go out of control." May handed him her phone, the data still scrolling across its screen.
"Giovanni himself was inside?" Morty stared at the experimental reports on the screen, his expression grim.
"He was, but I don't know if he's fled yet." Lin Hao pointed toward the warehouse's back door. "He brought three balls. I knocked one out of his hand, but he hasn't used the other two yet."
"Everyone, seal off the warehouse's underground levels. No one enters or leaves within a three-hundred-meter radius. Wait for the specialist team's support." Morty pressed the Communicator on his shoulder, rapidly assigning tasks.
"Take the samples on the right side of the second basement level, too. If that stuff gets out, someone else could build ten more bases," Lin Hao added from beside him.
"Understood." Morty put away his Communicator and hurried to lead his team forward.
"Wait. Leave Suicune out of the report," Lin Hao called after him.
"I didn't see anything tonight." Without slowing down, Morty waved a hand and rushed into the alley with two officers.
"That's it?" May took back her phone and looked at the empty alley entrance in confusion.
"This is just the beginning. Giovanni isn't the type to take a beating without hitting back." Lin
