A distant past, memories born at the very beginning of this world.
In that remote past, when nothing yet existed in this world, beings from beyond the heavens arrived on that lifeless timeline.
They were the Elder Ones, the first life this planet had ever known.
The Elder Ones transformed the planet, creating all things: living creatures, animals, and plants. Back then, humans did not even exist. Roaming the surface of this world were terrifying, enormous monsters that modern humans could scarcely imagine.
But soon, other beings descended from beyond the heavens. They waged an unprecedented, horrifying war against the Elder Ones who had arrived before them. The conflict spread across the entire planet, its tremendous power reshaping mountains and altering the climate. In the end, the Elder Ones sealed away the invaders from beyond the heavens.
But to their horror, they discovered that their war with the Outer Enemy had made the planet's climate less suitable for them. Freezing winds were sweeping across the entire planet, turning everything in this world into a realm of ice and snow.
The Elder Ones wanted to leave the planet, but only then did they discover that, over their long residence here, the wings that had once let them soar freely through the sea of stars had atrophied. They could no longer carry them away.
Not only that, but the creations the Elder Ones had made to serve them began rebelling against their rule.
Under these circumstances, the Elder Ones were forced to take their only remaining option-they used their last resort to activate their creations' self-destruct systems, turning their twisted, mutated corpses into nutrients that sank into the earth. The surviving Elder Ones retreated into the deep sea.
They hoped to escape the disaster, while also hoping
