A gunshot rang out. The spinning bullet punched through the monster's head, blasting it to pieces.
"Now!"
Li Wei lowered his gun and shouted.
"Henry, take two men and bring Dr. Franco and Kia back! Everyone else, launch a flare and provide covering fire!"
"Bang!"
At Li Wei's command, a flare shot up, illuminating the previously dim cavern. In its dazzling white light, dozens of grotesque monsters came into view. Some hovered in the air, while others clung to the walls, turning their heads toward Li Wei and his men.
The fleshy growths on their heads shone brightly. Then they lunged, throwing themselves at the group!
