Three days later, Li Wei returned to Military Intelligence Section Seven and found the old butler.
"You want to investigate the Lancaster Family?"
The old butler looked somewhat surprised.
"This case still isn't over?"
"The case is more or less closed, but the problem hasn't been fully resolved."
Li Wei offered an explanation.
"According to my investigation, everything stemmed from the Lancaster Family who originally lived there, so I'd like to investigate them further and see whether I can turn up any more clues."

Intelligence agencies were different. This was precisely their job. If they thought something was wrong, digging into every last detail was only natural.
"By the way, how are you planning to write up this case?"
Li Wei asked curiously. He knew that every supernatural case he solved might appear in The Explorer, so he was very curious about how they intended to write this one up-or rather, make it up.
"It's already written. Here, have a look."
The old butler chuckled and handed over the manuscript beside him. Li Wei took it and skimmed through it.
Hmm, nothing much to the opening. It
