Over the next day, Li Wei gathered information from both Lestrade and Military Intelligence Section Seven, but neither had any particularly useful intelligence or leads concerning the Imperial Bridge. The only thing he could tell so far was that, to his eyes, the red glow inside the Imperial Bridge model was gradually taking shape.

The model itself had become something of a problem, too.

Although Li Wei had told Katie to take it home to play with, she had left it at Military Intelligence Section Seven for the time being, only playing with it occasionally when she visited. Henry had suggested simply smashing the damned thing, just like those cursed scarecrows in ghost stories. Perhaps breaking it would put an end to everything.

But as far as Li Wei was concerned, that was exactly what those idiots with itchy fingers did in horror movies. If they smashed it and released something troublesome, who was going to deal with it?
