When he had finished his first journey across universes and returned to the Warhammer universe, he had stopped by Trazyn's Solemnace Museum. The Infinite One had summoned a projection of the Silent King and reported that he had regained his soul.
At the time, an orc Krork specimen held in Trazyn's museum had been released by Chaos Space Marines led by Abaddon.
The Silent King had taken the opportunity to warn Trazyn, lest he spread news of possessing a soul throughout the Necron race and cause unnecessary unrest.
Even then, Lox had felt that the Silent King's bearing was truly extraordinary. As the Silent King, Szarekh would never speak; all his decrees were relayed through the Phaeron Hapsetra and Mesophet.
The Necrons' highest governing body was called the Triarch, composed of the phaerons of the three most powerful Necron dynasties.
Though it was supposedly a triumvirate, two of them were really just the Silent King's mouthpieces, little different from ornaments hanging off Szarekh.
Back then, however, Lox had been on Necron territory, so naturally he had shown the Silent King some respect.
But now they were on humanity's Holy Terra, and humanity was no longer what it had once been. Against the not-yet-fully-awakened Necrons, it remained to be seen who was stronger.
