• Adam killed Warsmith Vol Braun, then rebuked Perturabo and exposed the fractures within the Iron Warriors.
• Dorn approved a plan to destroy the Twin Gates, and Ulthran brought Aeldari reinforcements to Terra to form an alliance with humanity.
• The Emperor and the Aeldari established an oath of mutual aid, while the Harlequins revealed that Mortarion and the Death Guard were trapped in Nurgle’s garden.
• Lox accepted the Laughing God’s request to help rescue Isha, and Isha aided Mortarion by curing her corruption and transforming her body.
• Mortarion escaped Nurgle’s garden with fewer than four thousand Death Guard, while Ahriman and Amon debated whether to save Magnus.
• Perturabo planned a mass ritual to bypass Dorn’s defenses, and Ahriman and Layak sacrificed billions to open a Warp route to Terra.
• Perturabo and Abaddon sent their ships through the gateway, Lion El'Jonson ordered his fleet to Terra, and Horus arrived between Terra and the moon.

Horus’s forces battered Terra as the loyalists fought through the daemon invasion and forced the traitor armies back. The Emperor then led a boarding force toward the Vengeful Spirit, where Lox and Curze were separated and the Chaos Gods began trying to claim more primarchs.

• Horus began bombarding Terra, and the Emperor tasked Lox with preparing a refuge for humanity in another universe if his plan failed.
• Jeremiah Blitz and the Solar Auxilia fought the Death Guard until Qin Xin’s White Scars arrived, and Nathaniel Garro defeated Typhus before Mortarion appeared and was imprisoned.
• Sevatar and Sigismund drove Khârn and Angrath to withdraw, giving Lion El'Jonson an opening to attack Perturabo’s forces.
• Sanguinius killed Angron and the daemon champions at the Lion’s Gate as Dorn and Adam led the loyalists’ counterattack against the Chaos armies.
• Adam used Perturabo’s Hrud temporal field to turn him into a child, while Dorn protected him and the Iron Warriors’ assault collapsed.
• The loyalists repelled Abaddon’s attack on the Saturnine Wall, but Abaddon escaped, and the Emperor revealed that the Vengeful Spirit had to be boarded to reach Horus.
• The Emperor led Lox, Curze, and the primarchs through the Warp toward the Vengeful Spirit, where Lox and Curze became separated from their companions.

Lox helped the Emperor defeat Horus, then left the Imperium to seek a way to save humanity in another universe. After reaching the world of X-Men, he established a base on Mars and began recruiting mutants and building ties with Charles Xavier’s school and the CIA.

• The Emperor’s sons reunited on the Vengeful Spirit, where Horus mortally wounded Sanguinius and Curze took the strike meant for him.
• The Emperor defeated Horus after Loken used the ritual dagger to sever his connection to Chaos, then forgave his dying son.
• The wounded Emperor returned to Terra and entered the Golden Throne, leaving the Primarchs to govern the Imperium’s frontier realms while Lox prepared to leave.
• Lox gathered veteran Astartes and researchers, departed aboard the Red Alert, and crossed the Well of Eternity into another universe.
• Lox reached the 1962 Solar System, built a hidden base inside Olympus Mons on Mars, and discovered that he had arrived in the world of X-Men.
• Lox met Charles Xavier at his school, offered funding and help against Sebastian Shaw, and persuaded Charles to build mutant influence and cooperate with the CIA.
• Charles and Lox helped the CIA confront Shaw at sea, where Erik Lehnsherr damaged Shaw’s yacht before Shaw escaped in a submarine.
• Lox helped Charles recruit mutants, found Aman and named him Darwin, then set out with him to meet Wolverine Logan.

Lox forced humanity and mutants to unite, then expanded their military and scientific preparations while Trazyn joined the Martian base. In the Warhammer universe, Abaddon took up the rebel cause as Erebus proposed freeing the last Krork, while an unknown presence and an Eternal warship approached Earth.

• Future Logan warned Lox that his actions had helped humanity unite but that the Omega mutants had unleashed a terrible enemy from the Warp, so Lox enhanced Logan into a Space Wolves warrior and sent him to train young mutants.
• Lox and the X-Men confronted Sebastian Shaw’s attempt to provoke nuclear war, but Shaw triggered his Yellowstone contingency before Lox could stop him.
• Lox suppressed Yellowstone by pulling its magma and surrounding matter into a Warp rift, then demanded that the president form a United Earth Government within a year.
• Humanity formed the United Earth Government, entered the interstellar age, and began spreading Emperor worship as Lox expanded the Mars base and advanced Astartes and Iron Men projects.
• Lox and Charles found a way to weaken the corruption binding Curze and Sanguinius, while Malcador established the High Lords Council, appointed Guilliman Lord Commander, and announced the Astra Militarum and Imperial Navy.
• Guilliman learned that Dorn and Perturabo had vanished into a temporal rift, while Abaddon arrived on Midgard and took responsibility for the gathered rebel forces.
• Abaddon accepted the Four Gods’ blessing and negotiated support from the traitor factions, while Erebus proposed releasing the last Krork from Solemnace to unite the Orks.
• Trazyn warned Lox of a possible disturbance in the Warhammer universe, and Lox detected an unknown presence approaching Earth as Sersi and Ikaris brought an Eternal warship through the Warp.
