The story left Qi Zhongbin investigating an ominous rhyme about the Tan Household while Tan Yuanshang asked Hu Kuangming to check on Emperor Yongming.

• Yi Shuyuan displayed Heaven-and-Earth Manifestation at Mount Great Autumn, while Monk Wufa delivered a snow python and was restored by a śarīra.
• Yi Shuyuan collected the matured Mountain-Topping Grass and refined three Heavenly Battle Pills, but one escaped after the other two were recovered.
• Yi Shuyuan revived Lu Junshan’s soul briefly, then left him to be taken to the Underworld for reincarnation.

Tan Yuanshang exposed a plot against the emperor, while Qi Zhongbin reunited with his fellow disciples and their master. After emerging from seclusion, Yi Shuyuan set the Qiankun Lineage and the Demon-Subduing Palace on a campaign to destroy the Untransformable Bone.

• Tan Yuanshang brought Hu Kuangming to examine the emperor, and Hu warned that the emperor’s condition was dangerous and ordered him to stop taking palace medicines.
• A prince sent Fighter Monk’s ghost to kill Hu Kuangming, but Hu’s manuscript repelled it, and Qi Zhongbin captured Fighter Monk when he tried to steal the treasure.
• Tan Yuanshang revealed Qi Zhongbin’s identity to the emperor, who appointed him Great Yong’s Celestial Master and ordered the Fifth Prince’s execution for poisoning and attempted murder.
• Tan Yuanshang donated the Tan Household’s holdings to the court, while Qi Zhongbin and Hui Mian reunited with Stoneborn at the Mo Residence.
• Stoneborn and Qi Zhongbin chased the Starwoven Pill, but Yu Xinmei caught it after it fell into a wonton and began refining it.

Yi Shuyuan disguised himself as Xuanxi to infiltrate the demons and draw out the Untransformable Bone, then joined the Manifest Holiness True Lord in defeating the demon kings and destroying it. He refined the bone into the Mystic Gold Sword Pellet and visited the Southern Sea Dragon Palace, where the Dragon Lord showed him a living immortal Alchemy Furnace.

• Yi Shuyuan reached the Southern Heavenly Realm, warned the Heavenly Emperor that the Untransformable Bone had recovered, and arranged for the Manifest Holiness True Lord to bring an army if needed.
• Yi Shuyuan borrowed Xuan Ji’s Life-Bound Golden Bell, underwent a transformation tribulation, and took the guise of the cat demon Xuanxi to draw out the Untransformable Bone.
• Xuanxi entered Yaohuang Demon City with Liao Yaohuang, gave him and Xie Zhiwu two Vital Essence Pills, and discovered the Untransformable Bone beneath the city.
• The Manifest Holiness True Lord led the heavenly army against Yaohuang, defeated the demons and the Untransformable Bone, and took Xie Zhiwu and Liao Yaohuang into custody.
• The Manifest Holiness True Lord executed Xie Zhiwu and Liao Yaohuang, while Yi Shuyuan refined the Untransformable Bone in the Heaven-Turning Furnace.

Yi Shuyuan restored the Alchemy Cauldron path by completing the Four-Pillar True Yang Furnace’s refinement and creating a Spirit Treasure that calmed the Southern Sea. He later reunited Mai Lingfei with Chu Qi in the Underworld and helped Chu Hang confront court intrigue and lead drought relief.

• Yi Shuyuan studied the Immortal Dao Alchemy Furnace, gathered pill scriptures from across the realms, and restored the True Records of the Pill Compendium.
• Yi Shuyuan joined the Heaven-Turning Furnace’s fire with the Four-Pillar True Yang Furnace and refined its contents as the Pill Dao scholars compiled their canon.
