• Stoneborn left the Mo Residence with Qi Zhongbin, Old Master Mo, and Yi A Bao to attend Ya Ci’s Dragon-Transformation Ceremony, while Ya Ci returned a dead true dragon’s water essence to the world.
• Yin Lian led the Dragonkind Song, and Ya Ci took the Rolling Dragon Crown and was acclaimed as North Sea Dragon Lord.
• Ya Ci released Ya You’s water essence, beginning a vast Dragon Ascension tide that carried Ao Po toward the Four Seas.
• Yi Shuyuan guided the tide through the Mountain and River State Map, where mountains, currents, and lightning swept away many of the followers.

Lu Haixian’s account of a dream journey became the Four Seas and Mountains Record, drawing the emperor into a search for immortals and bringing mages to the Capital City. As the court prepared a magical assembly, a series of mysterious deaths unsettled the newcomers.

• Yi A Bao and Mo Yiming awoke after sleeping for a year and told Lu Haixian about their shared dream journey, inspiring him to write the Four Seas and Mountains Record.
• Lu Haixian presented the book to the emperor, who became convinced that its supernatural account might be true and had Lu Haixian arrested for concealing the truth.
• Under questioning, Lu Haixian described Elder Celestial Master Qi’s dream journey, but he collapsed before he could be brought to the palace.
• The emperor issued a proclamation inviting immortals and masters to court, and practitioners from across the realm flocked to the Capital City as officials screened them for fraud.
• Gao Hongqing presented a Yang-Supplementing Pill to the emperor and sought court support for his alchemy, while the emperor ordered a Magic Appraisal Assembly.
• Qi Zhongbin investigated after Fu Xinbo and the guards found thirty-four visiting mages dead, and Yan Shouyun glimpsed two Day Patrol Gods at the scene.

Yan Shouyun was drawn into the Magic Appraisal Assembly and uncovered demons hiding among the court’s mages as Xiao Yuzhi fought to protect the emperor. After demons nearly killed Xiao Yuzhi and Shao Zhen died helping complete the Divine Dao Painting, Yan Shouyun confronted the emperor and prepared to summon the gods.

• Yan Shouyun was swept into the emperor’s Heaven-worship ceremony, where his radiance exposed disguised spirits and demons, and he escaped the guards using Divine Movement.
• At the Magic Appraisal Assembly, Xiao Yuzhi killed the disguised ape monster Cao Nianwen, while Yan Shouyun recognized Jin Lan as an evil demon during her performance.
• Yan Shouyun trained with Qi Zhongbin, sensed a deity’s response, and received the Celestial Master Token as the court’s mages gained influence and Jin Lan schemed to become empress.
• Jin Lan gathered demons and mages at the abandoned Tan Residence, while Xiao Yuzhi was lured into an ambush and gravely wounded before Yan Shouyun rescued him by boat.
• Yan Shouyun brought Xiao Yuzhi to the True Lord Temple, where Shao Zhen helped him complete the Divine Dao Painting and died beside him.

After the fall of the capital’s corrupt court, Yu Xinmei searched for Zhou Youzhi and found his reincarnation, Zheng Yiming, in Pingzhou. She secretly helped him through the examinations, then uncovered the Wang Household’s fraud and clashed with a mage protecting Wang Shicai.

• Yan Shouyun summoned the gods to purge the Capital City, and they killed Jin Lan before departing the mortal world.
• The emperor took an Immortal Elixir made by Zhuang Shengyi and died, while the court later executed those implicated in wicked arts.
• Ao Po became Yi Shuyuan and repaired the sunken Alchemy Furnace as Yu Xinmei completed her transformation and joined Chen Han in Lingdong.
• Yu Xinmei learned from the City God that Zhou Youzhi had been reincarnated, then followed the Long-Haired Ghost’s traces to Pingzhou.
• Yu Xinmei recognized Zheng Yiming as Zhou Youzhi’s reincarnation and quietly aided his studies, his sick mother, and his examination.
