In Taiqiu Immortal City, within an immortal abode like a Heavenly Palace soaring above the clouds, Dongfang Mao awoke from a dreamlike vision between sleep and wakefulness. He silently closed his eyes and spent a while digesting his newly acquired knowledge. Then he suddenly turned his palm over, and an azure glow swirled across it.
On a nearby workbench, grains of conductive stone the size of rice kernels rose into the air and fell into the azure glow, melting and changing shape as though scorched by flames.
Gold and silver filaments and assorted secret treasures were melted down along with them. Before long, a crystalline wafer the size of a fingernail emerged.
An inquisitive light flickered in Dongfang Mao's eyes. His thoughts raced like lightning as he followed the program's spell formulas to input the instruction set Li Chen had personally devised, using his own brain as the hardware to compile and test it.
