Roland woke in the Soft, Comfortable Bed. The moment he opened his eyes, the Magic Lamp lit up and the curtains opened.
Before long, Aier came over from the little room next door, rubbing her eyes.
"Good morning, Master!"
"Morning, Aier. I'd like a glass of honey water."
Roland gave the order without getting out of bed.
"Of course. Right away."
Aier turned and left.
A short while later, she came back with a glass of warm honey water she had prepared outside and handed it to Roland.
"I'll go make your breakfast now. Is there anything you'd like?"
"Anything's fine."
Roland answered lazily, then opened the projected screen and began studying, half reclining in bed.
Back in the tower, he had once again returned to a life where everything was done for him. Taking care of himself was the name of the game.
He had to admit, it was sheer bliss!
