He led the Azure Cloud Sect’s forces in an assault on Nameless Island and defeated Qunyao, though the story left the consequences of Qunyao’s final transformation unresolved.

Under the identity of Guang Hao, he gained Dongfang Zhi’s trust and traveled to the Nine Hells, then slipped back to the Eastern Sea to pursue his own investigation.
