Liu Yu strengthened his body, joined Huang Mei and Kongzhao to explore Brightnight Grotto-Heaven, and battled Demon Kings for its treasures. He found the Sun-Moon Spirit Spring, but Devil Lord Black Heaven stood in his way.

• Liu Yu accepted Yan Kai’s ancient Nascent Soul Condensation Pill formula, improved it in the Immortal Mansion World, and later traded for heavenly fire spirit nethergrass at Huang Mei’s gathering.
• Liu Yu joined True Lord Thunderclap against four Demon Kings, helping kill the Sky-Rending Leopard, Blue Dragon, and Purple Crystal Black Bear before retreating to cultivate.
• Liu Yu broke through to the Fourth-Tier Late Stage in body refining, then agreed to explore Brightnight Grotto-Heaven with Huang Mei, Kongzhao, Mo Mei, and Zihong.
• At the grotto-heaven entrance, Liu Yu joined the human forces against the Demon Kings, then led his companions inside after the Black Flood Dragon King and other demons forced their way through.
• Separated from his companions, Liu Yu fought Fire Spirit Clan members, defeated a Fire Spirit Clan Elder, and took a Sunflower after killing Demon King Zi Su.
• Liu Yu met Zihong and followed a battle to a valley, where he spotted the Sun-Moon Spirit Spring as Devil Lord Black Heaven overpowered the Fire Spirit Grand Elder.
• Liu Yu attacked Black Heaven while the devil lord was occupied, but Black Heaven blocked Liu Yu’s Spirit-Shocking Thorn and raised the Dark Sky Curtain to meet the assault.
