The shop was called the Artifact Mending Pavilion.
It was in the northern ward, quite far from the Xu Family Alchemy Shop in the southern ward.
As its name suggested, the shop repaired incomplete or damaged artifacts. It also bought secondhand artifacts, refurbished them, and resold them.
Lin Changheng went in to ask about the price, then shook his head and left.
The pavilion seemed certain that his goods were stolen and deliberately lowballed him.

"Fellow Daoist, are you looking to sell a magic artifact?"
Just then, before Lin Changheng had gone far, a low voice came from behind him.
He turned and saw a scholar-looking cultivator standing nearby. Clearly, this was the person who had spoken.
"Have you been following me, fellow Daoist?"
Lin Changheng's cold voice rang out on the street, laden with hostility.
"You misunderstand, fellow Daoist."
The scholar-looking cultivator flinched slightly and waved his hands repeatedly.
"Then-how did you know what I intended to do?"
Lin Changheng's tone
