The place Insect Core Crystals favored most was the Moon Sea, the only part of the Western Extremity that was not barren. An ancient forest lay within it, but the Moon Sea was dangerous, classified as an eerie land of the cultivation world.
An eerie land was one of the mysterious places in the cultivation world that had yet to be fully explored. Supposedly, all manner of demons, monsters, ghosts, and fiends lurked within them. Rulers throughout the ages had reportedly sent large forces in to investigate, only for many of those forces to vanish inexplicably.
Others had led expeditions inside and emerged unharmed, saying that aside from an eerie feeling and a tendency to lose their way, they had encountered no danger.
