A rather pretty woman, prettier than Zhu Xiangxin, first stepped aside to let Wu Jinliang and Duan Xiangmei pass, then hurried along the side of the corridor toward Zhu Xiangxin.
Zhu Xiangxin was surprised to see her too. This was his junior sister from the same sect, and under the very same master. Her name was Man Yunjiao.
"What brings you here?" Zhu Xiangxin asked in surprise.
Man Yunjiao glanced at the people looking their way from both directions and smiled. "Senior brother, it's been so long. Let's find somewhere to sit."
Zhu Xiangxin hesitated, then gave his companions a slight nod before turning to follow her.
Wu Jinliang, who had stopped and turned to watch them leave, turned back and pulled Duan Xiangmei along again, looking utterly unconcerned.
The group returned to their respective rooms one after another.
After entering and closing the door, Wu Jinliang caught its edge with his hand, preventing it from shutting completely. As he turned his head, his gaze suddenly sharpened. He raised a finger to signal Duan Xiangmei to keep quiet and tilted his ear to listen.
A door opened, and Feng Chi emerged from the room, hurrying in the direction Zhu Xiangxin had disappeared.
The moment Feng Chi vanished around the turn of the stairs, Wu Jinliang emerged from his room again. Still looking utterly unconcerned, he sauntered over to Shi Chun's door, glanced both ways along the corridor, and opened it with magic without knocking before walking inside.
Standing by the window, Shi Chun turned to look at him, wondering what he was doing going in and out. Hadn't he been off to do some smooching?
Wu Jinliang approached him and said quietly, "When we went out just now, we ran into a woman in the corridor. Quite pretty, wearing Ten
