Lu Changsheng hunted the Three Rivers Gang, gathered spiritual resources in the Cangyun Mountain Range, and strengthened himself while unrest spread around Changping County. He exposed and killed Matron Cao in Luohe Village, then exchanged his mission merits for two new martial arts.

• Lu Changsheng killed Li Yunhua after the ambush by the Scent Worship Cult, then returned to Changping County and began developing stronger Iron Cloth Shirt methods.
• Lu Changsheng learned the Bone Shrinking Art, declined Yue Shulan's offer to join the Sea Shark Gang, and began ambushing Three Rivers Gang caravans.
• Lu Changsheng gathered spiritual herbs and Moon-Patterned Stones in the Cangyun Mountain Range, transformed his King Pangolin into a Mountain Spirit, and subdued the Ant Queen.
• Lu Changsheng resumed attacking Three Rivers Gang and Li Family convoys, clashed with Wang Yong, and accepted a Demon Suppression Department mission to investigate a missing agent in Luohe Village.
• Lu Changsheng traced strange village events to Matron Cao, fought her Corpse Puppets, and killed her after she reached the Bone Forging stage.

• Lu Changsheng rescued Du Ling from Fulong Manor, received the Three-Fold Wave secret technique, and investigated a string of deaths linked to the Scent Worship Cult.
• Lu Changsheng killed Ye Yuzhen and Hu Yuhe, survived an assassination attempt, and led purges against cult strongholds while raising his martial arts to new heights.
• Lu Changsheng gathered Fire Crystals with his Blazing Fire Ants, defeated Scorpion Kings, and ambushed members of the Scent Worship Cult and Three Rivers Gang.
• After half a year of patrols and combat, Lu Changsheng fused several martial arts and accepted Qin Ruobing’s offer to take the Profound-rank Demon Suppressor assessment.
• Lu Changsheng and four other Demon Suppressors entered a Calamity Domain containing Guokou Village, where Liu Jingshu ordered each man to marry a bride and consummate the marriage within fifteen days.

Lu Changsheng rose through the Demon Suppression Department while secretly hunting Scent Worship Cult leaders, strengthening himself and taking control of the Sea Shark Gang. The arc leaves him defending Wuqiong Town as cultists and bandits prepare to attack again.

• Lu Changsheng survived the mission to the vanished village, exposed his companions’ conduct with a Record Stone, and was promoted to Profound-rank Demon Suppressor.
• After earning the Patrol Envoy role, Lu Changsheng rescued government fighters, killed Ghost Soul Emissaries in disguise, and kept his identity as the mysterious fighter hidden.
• Lu Changsheng gathered Fire Crystals, strengthened his exotic beast and techniques, and broke through to Blood Exchange as the conflict with the Scent Worship Cult intensified.
• Lu Changsheng killed Zhou Yunkou, Jia Changning, and other Ghost Soul Emissaries, then withstood an ambush by three Blood Exchange experts and killed Zhao Changgong.
