As soon as Chu Mo stepped into the Main Pavilion, he found it rather empty. Yet quite a few disciples of the Hezhen Society moved through it, some talking quietly, others working with their heads lowered. Everyone attended to their own duties, busy but orderly.
He paid no heed to the bustle and headed straight for the Inner Pavilion.
Compared with the space outside, the Inner Pavilion was even more lavish and imposing. Dharmic Treasures stood neatly arranged on shelves, their spirituality swirling around them, precious radiance flickering, their auras extraordinary.
There were no restrictions protecting them, either. They were simply left out in the open, watched over by only a few Deacons at Qi Refining Perfection.
After all, no one was foolish enough to come to a True Lord's domain and try anything underhanded for the sake of Foundation Establishment Dharmic Treasures. It was neither possible nor something anyone dared attempt.
A blue-robed Deacon immediately approached when he saw Chu Mo. "This disciple is Xu Ke. Greetings, High Person Youxuan."
"You know me?" Chu Mo glanced at Xu Ke but found no memory of him.
Xu Ke cupped his hands. "High Person, the True Lord instructed us in advance that, should you come, you may take a reasonable selection of treasures here."
Chu Mo nodded. So everything had been arranged beforehand. It seemed that, with the "chicken feather" True Lord Xuan Cheng had given him to wield as a command token, he now had considerable authority. At the very least, many things would be open to him.
Chu Mo's gaze swept across the Dharmic Instruments and Dharmic Treasures on the shelves. Their sheer number and variety left him somewhat astonished.
Towers and halls could be erected in a short time, but refining Dharmic Treasures took considerable time and effort.
