Steam curled from the tea, its delicate fragrance drifting through the air.
Chen Ziliang sat in the seat of honor, holding a teacup, his expression relaxed and utterly at ease.
The fellow disciples of the Heaven's Will Sect beside him, however, looked somewhat more solemn.
"Senior Brother Chen," a disciple in blue Daoist robes began.

Chen Ziliang turned toward the blue-robed disciple and said with a smile:
He paused, sweeping his gaze over everyone present:
"We need only eliminate those demonic cultivators and rescue Cloudmist from Tribulation Deliverance's grasp. Then we can discuss the ownership of its Daoist legacy properly with the people of this world." "Senior Brother is right," True Person Mingguang chimed in.
"Junior Brother Su, it would be best if this world willingly accepted our immortal orthodoxy. If they prove stubborn beyond reform, it won't be too late to resort to force." Su Yu nodded. He was the youngest among them; since his senior brothers had made their decision, he needed only carry it out.
After considering for a moment, Chen Ziliang spoke again:
