Cloudsea Hanging Mountain, a myriad hues of radiant splendor.
Chu Mo had only just stepped into the sect when the disciple Command Token at his waist trembled lightly. He picked it up and looked. Beneath his name, new words slowly took shape: [True Lord Youxuan].
Before he had even reported his advancement to the sect, the Register of Souls had updated itself.
"Heh, how convenient."
He narrowed his eyes, his gaze piercing layer upon layer of obstructions to settle on the projection of the Register of Souls.
Now isn't the time yet.
Chu Mo quietly averted his gaze, then looked into the depths of the sea of clouds. The many immortal peaks there opened their restrictive seals to him. Radiant light unfurled, and the clouds and mist parted.
Under the rules of the Tribulation Deliverance Gate, disciples who advanced to True Lord could choose any immortal peak and move it into the sect as their own seat.
His gaze swept over those immortal peaks.
They came in all shapes, each with its own distinctive qualities. Some had gushing spirit springs, some had pine forests whose rustling surged like the sea, and some stood lofty and forbiddingly steep... His gaze paused, settling on a particularly stately mountain.
Its name was Mysterious Subduing.
"This one will do. I'll rename it Youxuan."
Chu Mo was not fussy. He raised a hand and closed it toward the distant immortal peak.
Heaven and earth abruptly fell still.
Boom!!!
Mysterious Subduing Peak tore free at its roots, its massive bulk hanging in the air as though upheld by an invisible, immense force. Reflecting ten thousand rays of profound light, it shot toward him.
Wherever the mountain passed, heaven and earth shifted, and billowing clouds parted to either side, clearing its path of their own accord.
