The Giant Python lowered its head, blotting out the clouds and moon. A vast aura radiated from its body; clearly, it too was a seventh realm existence.
Chu Mo naturally recognized it-or rather, Qing Xuan did. It was one of Mu Xian's tamed beasts, terrifyingly powerful, and Mu Xian had left it to guard the Sacred Mountain and watch over the Myriad Spirits Pool.
"All of my tamed beasts perished at the hands of Supreme Heaven's Immortal Seeds," he answered calmly, following the customary procedure. "I have come to borrow the Myriad Spirits Pool to revive them, lest I delay the important work of guarding the realm."
"All of them died?"
A trace of surprise appeared in the Giant Python's eyes. "Are those Immortal Seeds from Supreme Heaven that formidable? I remember that when they last came, their divine abilities were unusual, but surely not enough to make you lose all Four Gods at once, Beast Venerable?"
"They're Immortal Seeds, after all. They're bound to improve; they can't stay rooted to the same spot." Chu Mo smiled. "If you're interested, Spirit Venerable, you can ask Brother Mu Xian."
At that, the Giant Python nodded hesitantly, then shifted its body aside, opening a path into the mountain. "Since you have urgent business, Beast Venerable, go quickly. But whatever you do, do not defile the Sacred Pool."
Chu Mo gave an offhand reply and headed into the heart of the Sacred Mountain. Before long, he arrived before an immense natural wonder.
Light streamed down from the sky, illuminating a boundless pool and casting a kaleidoscope of colors across it. The qi of creation swirled within, its vitality so abundant that a single breath could prolong one's life.
"Such rich vitality. This water from the Myriad Spirits Pool..." Chu Mo's gaze shifted slightly.
