The Eight Departments trapped the hall masters in Great Black Heaven, and Shen Qingxi was forced to use Heavenly Pivot Hall’s forbidden art as the coup’s battle raged.

• Shen Qingxi consulted the Heavenly Mechanism and Heavenly Balance Hall Masters about Li Yunxiao’s proposal, and they agreed to investigate the new world further before deciding.

Chu Mo’s counterfeit takeover of the Mystic Court faced a sudden test when the Heavenly Emperor summoned its leaders and ordered a Divine Lord to the New World. After the Divine Lord Yue Yuan arrived, Chu Mo warned Primordial Beginning and Yichu that the Mystic Court had sent him.

• Chu Mo and the True Harmony Association gradually replaced genuine Mystic Court members with impostors, until the Heavenly Emperor summoned the heads of the Three Halls and Eight Departments.
• Chu Mo consulted Heaven’s Will, then went with Shen Qingxi and the other leaders to the Heavenly Emperor Palace.
• The Mystic Court’s Will questioned Chu Mo about the court’s dwindling population, and Chu Mo explained that its army was conquering a newly discovered world.

Their battle caused crimson rain in the Present World, and a Divine Official revealed that a Divine Lord had fallen.

• Chu Mo recalled the ghostfolk divine projections and enlarged the Mystic Court's divine descent passages into a vast portal for the Immortal Vessels.

• Primordial Beginning destroyed the last tainted Divine Lord, ending the battle in the Spirit Realm.

• Chang Le trapped Xuan Cheng in Drunken Dream of Flowery Splendor, and he resisted with Great Dream of the Mortal World before sending messages for help.
• Xuan Cheng’s dream summoned Ming Su and other True Lords to surround Chang Le, but Chu Mo’s command revealed that the confrontation had been an illusion.
