Before deciding to go down and investigate, Li Ping had already swept his divine sense over the snow below and those enormous canine beasts, without sensing so much as a trace of spiritual energy.
Clearly, both the canine beasts and the living beings inside the sled were mere mortals.

Li Ping put away the Flying Boat and descended onto the sled with Xiao Yunzhi.
The sled-like object was roughly ten feet wide, fifteen feet long, and eight feet high. It was completely enclosed, with only a crystal window at either end through which its occupants could see outside.
Though called a sled, it was actually more like an enclosed carriage.
The two landed on the carriage roof without deliberately concealing their presence, and soon alerted the living beings inside.
After a syllable whose meaning was unclear, the dozens of canine beasts slowly came to a halt along with the carriage.
Then, with a click, a door in the side of the carriage was pulled inward, and four figures wrapped in thick coats climbed out.
Looking up, they immediately saw Li Ping and Xiao Yunzhi standing on the roof, then noticed their thin clothing and graceful bearing.
Awe appeared on all four faces, and they hurriedly bowed. The apparent leader nervously said a few words, then stood with his hands lowered, respectfully awaiting their instructions.
Clearly, they had seen cultivators before and knew that cultivators possessed the ability to remain unaffected by heat and cold.
The temperature outside was far lower than inside the carriage, and within moments, the four began trembling despite themselves.
Unfortunately, Li Ping could not understand a single word they said.
With no common language, this was truly a chicken talking to a duck!
