The phantom formed by the Raven Queen slowly approached the Magic Flute and reached out to grasp it. In an instant, all of Sylven's magic power was devoured, and the flute's music stopped abruptly.
The Raven Queen examined the flute in her hand, then looked at the ring in her other hand.
"So this is the Magic Power Ring."
The Magic Power Ring was a holy relic with a relatively low cost of use. Its function was fairly straightforward: it amplified its holder's magic power according to the price paid.
Usually, however, that amplification had a limit-not the relic's limit, but its holder's. Magic power beyond one's control could backfire.
"And this must be where the Ilkhan Kingdom stores its treasures?"
The boundary between the otherworld and the surface world was extremely unstable. It could exist, yet vanish at any moment. Creating a stable space like this was no easy feat, and it offered considerable security, second only to high-tier secret realms.
Moreover, a secret realm required a Secret Realm Weaver, while a space like this did not. Thus, it would not easily "die" and could endure for a long time. Without a traitor to guide them, even someone of Walton's caliber could not enter easily.
Although the Raven Queen's phantom was not as powerful as her true body, it still possessed formidable strength. She advanced along one side of the corridor and, after searching around several times, found a red door that had clearly been warded.
All manner of runes and protective wards appeared across the door. An invisible repelling force seemed intent on driving the Raven Queen away, but although her hair streamed backward like wisps of smoke, her body continued slowly
