After Barn agreed to take Yuna back to Fish-Man Island, he stayed in the Sabaody Archipelago for a few days. In fact, he had little choice. Because of that unlucky Marshuk, the Navy had dispatched Admiral Kizaru and countless sailors to seal off the ports and conduct strict identity checks. Even the FFF Mercenary Guild's branch in the Sabaody Archipelago had not been spared. Fortunately, Barn had spent that entire time inside Laboon's stomach, so he had not been exposed.

Barn also used those few days to teach a few moves to Scott, the kid with a bounty of 150 million Beli.

A few days later, the Navy gave up its search for Barn, and he left the Sabaody Archipelago with Yuna. By now, they were deep beneath the ocean.

Barn lounged inside Laboon's stomach, sleeping in, while the little mermaid Yuna was brimming with excitement, swimming back and forth beside Laboon.

Just then, Barn woke up and emerged from Laboon's blowhole inside a bubble. With spectacularly bad timing, he said,

"Hey, Yuna, I've brought you here. Head home on your own. I'm going back."

But no sooner had he finished than four spears surrounded him.

"What do you think you're doing?"

Naturally, Barn sensed the four soldiers watching him like hawks and asked in a low voice.

"Human! That's what we should be asking you! What are you doing on Fish-Man Island?"

The four soldiers showed no sign of backing down.
