Doflamingo looked at Barn, who sat across from him, with an amused smile. Barn frowned and leaned forward, seemingly resting all his weight on one shoulder. A mysterious smile appeared on his face as he spoke.
"So, what do you want?"
"As I just said, you hate the Celestial Dragons. As it happens, so do I. That means you and I share a common enemy."
Doflamingo spoke, but Barn remained unmoved. Instead, he smiled and said,
"As I also just said, my subordinate told me you're a Celestial Dragon yourself..."
The smile vanished from Doflamingo's face. This subject was taboo to him, yet Barn kept bringing it up. The corners of his mouth curved dramatically downward, as though he were doing everything he could to express his displeasure.
"It seems I underestimated your intelligence network after all, Barn."
Doflamingo's voice was low, stripped of its earlier flippancy. Perhaps only now had he truly become serious.
"That's right. I am a Celestial Dragon."
Doflamingo slowly let out a sigh. Those few quiet words landed like a bomb in Barn's mind!
Everything before this had been speculation. Yet now that he had actually heard Doflamingo admit it, Barn found it somewhat hard to accept. More than anything, he was bewildered. He couldn't understand why Doflamingo, a Celestial Dragon, would be here, or why a Celestial Dragon would turn out like this.
Still, this revelation also brought to mind Buzzby, the seemingly young intelligence agent in his apprentice's Guild.
The smile disappeared from Barn's face, replaced by an equally serious expression.
