But Barn had no interest in meddling or playing the hero at a time like this. Doing so would affect his seemingly friendly "cooperative" relationship with Doflamingo.
Barn left, but word of his appearance in the New World spread like wildfire. The New World was the pirates' last paradise, and there was no shortage of people who thought themselves powerful enough to claim Barn's head.

Before him loomed someone like a small mountain. Well, I couldn't even be sure whether she was human. All that could be seen was a pitch-black shadow, with no sign of the creature's face.

The mountain-like creature spoke, and her voice was unmistakably female. It sounded as though it came from the heavens. Apparently, she really was human, though who knew how she had ended up looking like that.
The previous speaker was Duke Egg, a combatant serving Big Mom, one of the Four Emperors. In that case, the mountain-like figure had to be Big Mom...
